Dive deeper - SEKS Series

Thanks to a generous grant from The Effing Foundation, Goddess Cecilia was able to documents three conversations with fellow Filipina/x/os about how their cultural upbringing intersected with sex education, healing from trauma, and body image and self-esteem.

All of the conversations occurred in 2019, over Filipino dishes cooked by local restauranteurs in the Boston and Los Angeles areas. Three different groups came together, shared a meal, and talked about topics we don’t often talk about among others in the Filipina/x/os community.

Though it is still a work in progress, here are some short segments from some of the conversations.
